For cancellation requests received 2 days prior to dispatch, you will be entitled to a credit note for the hire amount including postage. You will not receive a refund. The credit note can be used to hire any items available on The Curate Club and will have a 12 month expiry.

For cancellation requests received within 2 days prior to dispatch, you will not be entitled to a credit note.

In a special circumstance where a refund has been prohibited, a $20 processing fee will be deducted from the total amount.


If you receive your outfit and it is not what you expected, you are entitled to a credit note of the entire rental value, minus shipping cost of $15. To ensure you are entitled for a credit note, please email on the day you receive your order to request it. Place your order into the prepaid satchel included and return to our address, or drop off the dress to the location on your order confirmation email. Once your garment is delivered back to us and is inspected for wear, we will provide you with the credit note.



One credit note only can be applied per order. Credit notes have a twelve (12) month expiry. Orders placed using credit notes are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for another credit note.




The Curate Club may cancel your booking, for any reason. You will receive a refund for the amount you paid to The Curate Club for the booking and postage. The Curate Club will not be responsible for any consequences that result from the cancellation. Reasons for The Curate Club cancelling any bookings include, but are not limited to: 

The item is damaged by a customer that has rented the item prior to you.

The item is lost or stolen by a customer that rented the item prior to you.

It is deemed that it is not possible to deliver the item to you in time for your booking, due to previous late return by a customer, or for any other reason, such as postage network delays.

In all cases above, you will be entitled to a full refund.



Postal Returns

With delivery of your product, pre-paid return packaging is provided. Please ensure that you place your dress inside the self addressed envelope and drop it at your nearest Post Office or YELLOW Express Postal Box by 4pm on the last day of your hire. If you loose your return packaging it is your responsibility to return the garment via trackable express post to The Curate Club, 96 Wardell Road Earlwood 2206 NSW. You must provide tracking details and photo of addressed satchel to in order to avoid further borrowing charges.

If you return your item(s) via an Australia Post Outlet (highly recommended) where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement then the article will be deemed as returned and we will accept responsibility for the article after the first scan. If you return your item(s) via an Australia Post Box and the item(s) is not scanned and is lost by Australia Post then you accept responsibility for this loss and will be required to pay the retail cost of the item(s) in addition to the hire fee already paid.

If your hire period ends on a Sunday or public holiday Simply slip your dress in the return satchel provided and return to the nearest YELLOW Express Postal Box on the return date. Otherwise you can always return across the counter at the Post Office the next business day.

Drop Off Returns

If you are dropping off your order back to our warehouse, please ensure you do so before 6pm on the last day of your rental period. If you have rented from Friday to Monday, this would mean returning by 6pm Monday. Please ensure you return the address included on your order confirmation email.


If for any reason you post back the rental item(s) on a day after the Rental Return Date specified, late fees will apply. 

The fee charged for each day late will be your rental price divided by the number of days you've rented for, up to 120% of the original RRP of the item. For example, if you selected a 4-day hire and the rental fee was $100, late fees would be charged at $25 for each day late.
